Appraiser Renewal Information

All Kentucky License/Certification will expire on June 30th every year and must be renewed to remain active.

  • All Kentucky Licensed/Certified Appraisers are required to complete and submit proof of 14 hours of Board-approved continuing education on or before May 31st every year.
  • Annual continuing education hours must be completed from June 1st of the previous year - May 31st of the current year.
  • The most recent National USPAP Update is required for renewal on even years (example: 2020, 2022, etc). The seven hours completed for this course will apply toward the 14 hour annual requirment.
  • Credit will not be awarded for duplicate courses completed within the past 24 months.
  • All Board-approved education courses are listed under the Education tab above. If you complete a course that is NOT on the approved list, the following must be submitted to the Board for review to determine if credit can be awarded:
  1. timed course outline
  2. course description
  3. course certificate
  • The annual license renewal link will only become available in your online account after the Board has received and entered your annual education certificates.
  • Education certificates may be emailed to ppc.kreab@ky.gov or mailed to 500 Mero Stree 2NE09, Frankfort, KY 40601
